Here are a few things you can do to reduce the risk of suffering from this problem: your muscles, bones and ligaments are continuously stressed by normal daily activities, these little stresses add up over time and misalign the joints of your spine, arms and legs and that can lead to muscle tightness, spasm, joint stiffness and pain. Getting regular adjustments by your chiropractor will keep you filling fine.
Generally if you get adjusted while you are in pain, it will take longer to heal, whereas if you get regular or maintenance adjustments you can avoid pain before it even start. Keeping the spinal and extremity joints in good alignment will help your nervous and immune system to function at their best.
Think before you act!! Address your daily activities with the right approach, think safety, avoid poor posture this includes whether you are at your computer, driving ,or just on your sofa watching TV.
When lifting use your legs and keep your back straight, bring the item closer to your abdomen or chest , do not rotate your upper body.
Proper position well sleeping is on your back with a pillow under your knees. The other best position is on your side with a pillow between your knees and your head on a pillow that is not to thin.
We all know how important it is to exercise regularly, whether it be walking, biking, playing sports or going to the gym make sure you are staying consistent wit it.One of the most important aspect of exercising involves stretching and strengthening of your back muscles.
Those are referred as your core muscles and by keeping them flexible and toned you prevent pain and injury from happening.
Stress whether emotional or physical can cause muscle tension, which can then lead to a host of bad things including back pain. Reducing stress can be as simple as breathing exercises, meditating, yoga, taking a walk or simply sitting and doing nothing. Whatever you find relaxing or energizing, take time to do it.
Remember it is easier to prevent then it is to fix back pain!!!!
